Mea Culpa
Lately, life has been about as full as our ‘fridge.
I’ve been working on throwing away the smelly stuff (out with the old, in with the vibrant and fresh), organizing bottles (and moments) and taking stock of the ingredients that we really need for this new life of ours.
Oh, and “Full Plate,” my New York Daily News column, has taken over ALL of my free, blogging time… (If you’re ever wondering what I’m up to, and you can’t find it here, click on the right hand-side New York Daily News box for my daily column.)
Anyway, now I find myself “one of three” instead of just one. The moments that used to be mine, I now have to share. I eat, sleep and work being mindful of Jamie and Parker instead of just thinking of myself. I ABSOLUTELY miss the “Me, me, me!” single days. But, I’d never go back (even if you gave me an unlimited house account at Dean & DeLuca.)
Here’s to finding a little time (when Parker naps? when Jamie’s in the shower?) for myself and this blog.
