No! Don't listen to Buffy! True, 'emerald green' is clichéd, but if you think about it...it does paint a really beautiful picture. When I hear or read, 'emerald green' I cant help but think of The Emerald City, and the way it is depicted in the movie, with it's majestic splendor. So yeah. Just keep it the way it is.

Oh please don't use the phrase 'emerald green'. Anything but EMERALD GREEN. I always think of bad romance novels when I hear that (given, some of those romance writers make bookoos)....but you can do better.

Yes! Please finish it! I love the way you paint a picture with such beautiful and vivid words: "vibrant hues turn a deep shade of amethyst, dime-store emerald green," "the color conservative, the cut liberal," and "fingered the little white seeds." Ok, that one sounds kinda sexual, but still...it's magical.
