You make me so sad sometimes. Love should never be sad… Tragic, maybe, but never sad.

Hmmm… I think better sad than tragic. Tragic usually means an early end to love. Sad is just a bump along the road - which happens to even the best couples. Hang in there (if this post was inspired by something personal).

    Of course it can.

I can feel the pain. My heart goes out to you.

Love that is “tragic,” perhaps, is one that ended before its time, or ended due to uncontrollable forces interfering. It could have been the greatest love ever, if only it hadn’t ‘tragically’ ended.
A “sad” love should never be, simply because the essence of love is happiness, joy, and peace. A “sad” love is not love at all.

Just my lame take on it…
